Cyclists in St George?

After showing up for a group ride at the bike shop that consisted of only me showing up, I headed out on my own again for a ride up Snow Canyon State Park. To my surprise I met up with three other riders heading up the same way. It turned out to be Whitney, Toni, and Brad all from Salt Lake. All three whomm I already know from family. Brad is a well known Mtn biker on the Intermountain cup and Toni a not too shabby triathlete. We began our climb up Snow Canyon at a pretty good pace. Brad and Toni were on a tandem so they were slow and steady but made it too the top not too far behind. Descending back down was a different story as they descended like a semi with no brakes, too fast for me to even try to hold on their wheel. That ride is awesome if you take some time to look at the scenery for 5 minutes. Their were people rockclimbing up the face of a 200 foot cliff that looked pretty fun (not).
It was good to get out and burn that excess Thanksgiving feast.
