I got a free lesson in free riding today as I watched one of my new riding pals take 5 foot drops with ease on his 25 inch travel Enduro. I didnt want to spend the afternoon in the ER so I chose to walk the sections that I thought were too knarly. We were on the Barrell trail which is a trail just south of the racecourse in Green Valley. I had been on this trail but had never ridden this particular section. I actually found myself saying "I would rather be climing the uphill section again".
I think I will skip this trail next time and stay with the race course or the Green Valley Loop.
